The Job Seekers' Psychologist

Helping talented, experienced professionals find their way back to sanity and their next role.

You're experienced. You're qualified. And you've been job searching for months with nothing to show for it but rejection emails, silence, and a shrinking sense of who you are.

That's not a you problem. It's what today's job market does to even the most capable people - and it's exactly where psychology, not more resume tips, makes the difference.

Career coaches fix your CV. I work with what's actually happening in your head after the 200th application, the ghosting, the interview that you were convinced went well, then went nowhere.

2026's job market is brutal by design - AI screening out most applications, ghosting at record highs, months-long searches becoming normal. If you're struggling, it's not a reflection of your ability. It's the landscape.

Let's be clear about what this isn't. It's not therapy, and I'm not your therapist. It's not a pep talk, and I won't hand you a list of affirmations.

What it is: an impartial space where you can say the things you can't say to your partner, your friends, or your former colleagues - because they're too close to it, or too worried about you, or just don't get what a modern job search actually does to a person.

Together, we work through what's really going on underneath the job hunt: the rejection that's harder to shake than it should be, the confidence that's quietly eroding, the decisions you're avoiding, the story you've started telling yourself about why this is happening to you.

I bring clinical training to that conversation - but I'm not diagnosing or treating you. I'm helping you think clearly again, so you can move, decide, and apply from a steady place instead of a spiralling one.

A solitary hour in your week where someone genuinely understands both the psychology and the practical reality of what you're going through - and is on your side while you find your way through it.

I'm Lisa. Your ally throughout the job search.

Being stuck in your job search isn't a reflection of your ability - it's a predictable response to a job market that's genuinely broken right now.

Is this you?

You've applied to more roles than you can count, and the silence is starting to feel personal.

You interviewed brilliantly. You could feel it going well. Then... nothing. No feedback, no closure, just an inbox that stopped answering.

You were made redundant months ago, and you told everyone you're "fine" - but some days you're not sure you believe it yourself.

You're genuinely excellent at what you do. Years of proof and somehow that's not enough anymore, and you can't work out why.

You've started to wonder if the problem is you. It isn't, but that thought keeps showing up at 2am anyway.

You're holding it together for your partner, your kids, your LinkedIn feed, nights out - and you have nowhere to put down what you're actually carrying.

If any of that sounds familiar you're responding exactly the way any capable person would to a job market that's genuinely harder than it's ever been.

This is where I come in. Let's talk.

I'd been applying for eight months and started to believe something was wrong with me but I just needed someone who understood both the psychology and the market. First session, I felt like a human again.

R., former Operations Director

I was made redundant and told myself I was fine. I wasn't. Working with Lisa gave me somewhere to put the panic instead of carrying it into every interview.

S., former Marketing Lead

Twenty years of experience and I couldn't answer 'tell me about yourself' without spiralling. Lisa helped me separate my worth from my inbox. I got an offer three weeks later."

M., former Finance Professional

I kept thinking I'd lost my edge. I hadn't - I'd just been rejected so many times my confidence gave out before my ability did. Lisa helped me tell the difference.

J., former Head of People
