Psychology-informed ADHD coaching for late-diagnosed high-functioning women.

A calmer, more aligned way to understand your ADHD and show up fully in business and life.

I work with late-diagnosed, self-diagnosed, and suspecting ADHD women who’ve realised that coping - at work, in business, and in life - isn’t the same as thriving.

Constant self-monitoring - your tone, your competence, how you’re being perceived. Overthinking emails, messages, meetings, and decisions long after they’re done. Holding everything together on the outside while carrying constant internal pressure. Capable, reliable, and quietly exhausted all at once.

For many women, ADHD wasn’t obvious earlier in life. It was masked by intelligence, responsibility, people-pleasing, and effort. What was labelled as personality - sensitive, driven, intense, “a bit much” - was often a nervous system working overtime.

Midlife is when those strategies start to fail. Hormonal shifts, cumulative stress, and roles that demand constant self-management can make ADHD impossible to ignore - because the cost of pretending has become too high.

My work is psychology-informed ADHD coaching for women who are done fighting their brains and ready to replace coping with compassion, acceptance, and a calmer, more sustainable way of working and living.

I combine an MSc in Psychology with specialist ADHD coaching to help you understand that ADHD is not a deficit or disorder, but a unique neurological profile with its own set of strengths and challenges.

Let's work together

We start with a 30-minute exploratory call.

This is a calm, no-pressure conversation where we explore what’s bringing you here, how ADHD is showing up for you now, and whether my psychology-informed coaching is the right support.

If it feels like a fit, we work together for a minimum of six sessions.

I offer personalised, strengths-based coaching designed to help you understand your patterns, loosen high-functioning masking, and relate to yourself and the world differently - putting simple strategies in place to leverage your abilities.

Sessions are reflective, practical, and led by your real life, not a rigid one-size-fits-all programme. ADHD Psychology Coaching | Lisa Long

I thought I was just ‘intense and capable’. Working with Lisa helped me realise how much I’d been masking. For the first time, ADHD made sense and so did I. I feel calmer, clearer, and far less hard on myself.

Rachel, 49

I’d held everything together for decades. On paper, I was fine. Inside, I was exhausted. Lisa gave me language for what I’d been experiencing my whole life without ever making me feel weird. That alone was life-changing.

Anna, 51

I needed someone to listen and guide me. I came to understand myself and Lisa’s approach helped me stop overriding my instincts and start being ME . I feel more like myself now than I have in years.

Claire, 46

I was high-functioning, successful, and quietly falling apart. Working with Lisa felt intelligent, safe, and deeply validating. She helped me unmask without blowing up my life, and that balance mattered more than I realised.

Gill, 44
